Re: 81 Liquifire Clutch won't engage under load

Id say your secondary spring is broke or weak. Pulling the belt down in sheave is same as starting in high gear

Re: Can’t budge 79 liquified clutch

I used water trick on my 81 liquifire. First time i used. Unbelievable how it works. I never had luck with thread tape so used the thread sealant. Boom came right off

Hello everyone. I’ve been looking at posts of skis on 81 liquifire and it looks like they were mono leaf on front. Mine have been changed to multi probably should change back. What are your thoughts? Thanks Steve

My good friend in school had jdx6. That’s the only jd i road as kid. Thought it was a luxury liner compared to our 669tnt and 340 olympic. You definitely dont see any used jdx6 around here forsale

My 81 liquifire has a 22 top gear. Wonder if any knows where to get gears. Like to get 2:1 but not sure if possible?

Re: Kevin's Liquifire

Thank you. Very nice project just started one also. My bars have the chrome plating that’s peeling and i like the look of yours. Did the tr800 come on all the 82 and up sleds or only certain models.Im primarily a skidoo guy and yes that clutch is very similar to tra.
