Wiseco Ring Application

I get asked this a lot and usually forget the answer - which Wiseco rings are correct for Nikasil re-finished cylinders on Kawasaki 440 engines?

The answer is the 2677CD rings. The Wiseco Deere/Kawasaki pistons will come with 2677CDM, however these are for the original chrome cylinders. You can usually ask whoever you are purchasing pistons from to exchange the CDM rings for the CD style.
