76 340 Liquidator carb jets

Post by Bigtonka »

Helping a buddy out with his 76 Liquidator 340 - setting up his carbs.
It has a 40 for the pilot and a 280 for the main jet. The updater manual calls for 45 and 240 stock. We're at sea level. Would like to know what others are running.

Have no experience to all on, this machine hasn't run while in his possession yet.

I am running a 50 pilot jet on my Liquidator and the main jet varies from a 270-290 depending on temperature and such, so a 280 should be a good place to start. We dyno'ed it with Aaen pipes, but a with a stock muffler. Besides that, it was a stock motor, and we had the airbox installed.

I hope this helps,

PS: The 76 Liquidator Manual jetting chart is way to rich. The 77 "UP-Dator" chart is too lean.
