Biltwell spectrum helmet

Post by High Top »

Needed more than a ski helmet since acquiring my trailfires so I decided to go with new retro one from Biltwell. Not a perfect match with the sleds but close enough and it was marked down quite a bit since it’s a close out to make room for their newer models. Have really liked it so far and keeps my head nice and warm when we had temps of around zero this last weekend.

Wish the sled looked a little better but I’ll have to live with the duck tape and smashed in bumper for now. That’s how she was when it came out of the other guys chicken coop. This site has been really helpful with lots of great info to get it going mechanically. Box full of some carb parts from new breed and a fuel tank cleaning got it running great.

I'll have to dig up some photos. Several years ago I had a local company wrap a modern modular helmet with the flaming deer antler design.

Looks great! A JD jacket behind the helmet it looks like? A guy I work with had suit his mom had only worn a few times so I brought it home and luckily it fit my wife. Guess I need to get her a helmet too to complete the look!
