For you folks looking for a spindle(s) for me, it needs to be from a TF/SF or LF with a serial number under 155,000 or....if the serial number is above 155,000 we will need both steering arms as well. I'd prefer from a sled under 155,000 or part number AM54733.
Thanks,

DA

Don,
I have a set of spindles, used in good condition if you still need them. They are off of a 1980 Trailfire, serial # below 155,000. One has a good bushing the other one doesn't have a bushing. They have some pitting but not to bad. Both have been sandblasted, and are painted black, not blitz black, just satin black to keep them from rusting. When I took them off of the sled they were painted Winterfrost. Did the 1980 Sportfire also have spindles that were Winterfrost, or were they black? Just asking, because I can paint them Winterfrost if needed. Let me know if you need them, I can get them shipped out to you on Monday. No charge.

Hey guys, I found that we could use some NOS red reflectors for the charity sled. I carefully removed the old ones and if we have to we can reuse them but I'd prefer new ones.

This morning when I arrived home from work I found the seat from John's (THANK YOU JOHN!) the windshield from Ross Heavener (THANK YOU ROSS) and the ski's from Clack (THANK YOU JUSTIN...THEY WERE JUSTINTIME...) Things are looking good but I've started the series of "wake ups" in the middle of the night wondering what I've forgotten and I still have 4 sleeps before Saturday :bonk: Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Really appreciate PJ letting us use the shop for this project.

DA

PS: John included a new hat in his box so that's going with the sled as well. I may try stopping over at Klotz since it's only a few miles from my house to see if they'd donate some oil.

Hey DA, since you're driving around Fort Wayne aimlessly, why don't you swing on over to Mickey D's to see if they'll donate some food stuff's...

Just kiddin'!

Brian my farming worries ended the day after Thanksgiving in 2000 when I auctioned off all the buffalo and equipment. Man I have I missed baling hay on those hot days.................NOT!

Leave a message the next time. I have volleyball games about every night this week.

That anti-monkey butt stuff really works. I used it on a cross country motorcycle ride and it was amazing!
