FOR THOSE NEEDING BRAKE PADS ON ANY 00 or X Series

Post by Deleted User »

I have a couple 1974 400's and they both need brake pads. I dont believe you can get them anymore(if somebody does know where to get them please let me know) so does anybody know how to make your own? I have to think other people have run into this problem before and have come up with their own solution...Thanks

The part number for the brake band is TCA15878 and is still available thru Deere dealers. Hope this helps, Joel. P.S. the original number is AM52626 but it has been superseded.

I'm thinking that the 00 series brakes are the same as used on the lawn tractors, that would be why they are still available.
