How old do you have to be to race in the vintage race

Checked that already but it doesn't give a very good descrption on the vintage side of things

I believe there were two classes for the Vintage sleds. One was for drivers over 50 years of age.
I do not know if there is a minimum age but I bet 18 would be safe.

I'm 13 but probly wouldn't be going for a year or two so maybe by then I can get it figured out

Got it figrued out you can race in the vintage class under the age of 18 with parents consent
Now the search is on to find a 1980 or 81 2nd generation Liquifire and get it ready to race by january

Thanks Brock. At my house My family thinks that I'm crazy, but since the day My dad brought home a Trailfire I was hooked. Then when my dad broke it a month later thats how I found this site. After spending countless hours reading about Rainville, Watersboy and all the guys that raced deeres back in the day and the ones who race them now, I what to join that club

Clay me too,I have been in the Deere sleds about 2 yrs and i now have about 26 deere sleds,and i am 42,so i couldn't imagine what you will have when you are my age.You will probably have some of mine! Let me know if there is anything i can help you with.Brock

Ok think my prayers might have been answered this morning i found a 80 liquifire will know more tomorow put the guy even said he would bring it to my house hopefully thats a plus

certificate recipiant of the 12 vintage challenge !! on a 78 liquifre 440,
certificate recipiant of the 13 vintage challenge !! on a 340/s
certificate recipient of the 14 vintage challenge !! on a 78 liquifire 440
joe forgot the certificates for the 2015 vintage challenge
crossed the start/finish line twice at the 2013 and 2014 I500 on a 78 liquifire 440

Well talked to the guy some more the engine needs new gaskets and pistions put that is something i was going to do anyway

Well time to keep looking would rather find one that runs but that depends on what shape its in too
