Picked this up this weekend, anyone out there collect these?
Kind of unique with a 4 speed with a hand clutch.

Re: Honda trail 70
Honda built two versions of this bike, 4-speed hand clutch and 3-speed automatic clutch.
Looks like the front fork was replaced as it is blue.
Several colors were offered including red, blue, green, silver, yellow and maybe more.
They were street legal in some states but they did not have turn signals.
They bring prices near double what they cost new and are very collectable.

Yeah the forks were replaced as the headlight tabs were broke off.
I'm going to repaint that and recover the seat and enjoy it.

Many new and used parts available, I ship anywhere. Thanks everyone.

Might check on ebay for a pre-made seat cover.
Taillight lens also.
Hook that front brake cable back up!
And you are missing the air filter box. At least in your picture.

Good eye, I'm hoping a seat cover and new paint on the forks will make it look good enough for a rider. I need a RH brake lever, tail light lens, RH engine inspection cover and maybe a few small things.

Re: Honda trail 70
I put 1000's of miles on mine back in the early 70's. I think it had just over 5000 miles on it when it was sold when I got into too much trouble with it.

Re: Honda trail 70
I have a 1973 CT70 with the 3 speed automatic. It is completely original aside from a new seat cover I installed a couple years ago. They are tough little bikes that seem to run forever. I've been thinking of listing it for sale because I hardly ever use it. Anybody have some idea of what I should ask? It has around 1600 miles on it.
