Walbro WDB-31

Post by dikeman »

I'm looking for a high needle for my carb, thus far no luck in my internet search.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know much about that particular model carb, but many used the same needles... Would this be the correct one, or does it require a special needle?

Actually, for the carb you list, which I assume is for a JD 300, it definitely is the correct high speed needle. The parts manual shows AM 53093, which is the number on the eBay listing I attached.

This carb has a needle on the top which I believe is the AM 53093. Then on the left side of the carb there are two ports, one marked with an L that has another needle in it and beside it a port marked with an H. These port has no needle but certainly appears to have a hole going into the carb. Did this carb originally have three needles or did Walbro use the body for multiple configurations?

Two needles on these models. The one on the top is the high speed adjustment. The one on the side is the idle mixture.
