How about the plastic rear hand grips for 295/S, 340/S, Liquifire/Cyclone? I've heard you can get these from Arctic? Anyone have a P/N?

As I think of it, I will add parts here that are still available from John Deere

1) AM52305 taillight assy, Cyclone/Liqufire,Liquidator, 100 series, JDX etc $17.75 list as of 02/07
2) M63816-lens only for taillight. $16.50 list as of 02/07.

Now most guys on this list are pretty darn smart so I think you can figure out what to do between the taillight assembly at $17.75 and the lens only at $16.50!

3) AM54051-fuel pickup, includes screen, Cyc/Liq,Liquidator, Spitfire, Trailfire, Sportfire, Snowfire/Sprintfire, Liquifire. $4.20 list as of 02/07

4) AM52039-fuel pickup, includes screen, 100 series, JDX'x, 295/S. $6.50 list as of 02/07.

5) M63270-fuel line. Replaced today by part #PMK2812-0406 which comes in 100' rolls and is the basic clear fuel line. $.55 a foot.

I know alternatives exist but it's fun to see what Deere still has to offer. And believe me, it's not due to the snowmobile applications it's because these parts fit other machines in the lawn and garden line so we just luck out on being able to use these on our sleds.

More later

Bob
Think your late Liquifire bulb # is AM53888, halogen, and Deere does not supply a replacement.

I am certain it is available elsewhere

Greg

Interestingly, only ONE John Deere dealer shows to still have at least one in stock
You would think more would have survived.

Late Liquifires just have a bulb, again I haven't done anything along these lines in 20 years but I think most sled shops should have.

Right guys?

Bob, if you take it to a sled shop and have them match it, please post the Brand/Part # here. An auto parts store would probably be able to match it too.

Ok Matt the thing with the Auto Parts store is that they arnt as durable as they are for cars not a sled that has little to no suspension. The sled brand bulb is supposed to be more durable. My high beam brok but my low beam still works. I dont know when i can get to the sled shop but i can call another guy with the bulb info. He is a big parts unlimited guy. What is the best way to describe 3 prong 50/60 watt bulb?? Also what is deeres part number thanks. BOB
