just bought it in 2010. 1979 Trailfire 440 backrest, heated handlebars, liquafire track. hoping to stud it this summer but could need help finding carbide runners for the skis

Special Comments : Super fun sled to ride! Put on about 500 miles since purchase. Blew out an upper idler wheel in the suspension which also damaged the shaft. Planning to replace all bearings and recondition/rebuild the comet 102 clutch. Can't wait for next season to ride this great Deere again!

Special Comments: It has deffinetly seen it's years, but not in bad shape for being original. Some rust/fade and quite dirty under the hood, some cosmetic cracks in the hood and dash. The plate to cover the Tach hole doesn't stay in, but i still have it. For the most part it's been run every year of it's life that i know of except the last 5. I have just pulled it out of storage this year and look forward to running it once again. When i frist got it, it needed crank seals within the first winter I owned it.

Special Comments: Recovered a pair from a junk yard. They are consecutive serial numbers #99 and #100. It is a shame to find them in the shape they are in. They would have been in good decent restorable condition if they were found before they got to the Junk yard. Both tunnels are dinged up and the hoods are junk. They are for most part complete, minus the seats and windshields. They could be brought back but it is going to take a lot of work. Both motors are free. #99 has great compression and #100 will need the top end freshened. I would love to try to restore them at some point down the road. We will see....
