I may have bought one of Marshall's first hoods and it's very nice. OK, very, very nice. It's black and will look great on a LF but will have to be painted for any other fire series which is kind of sad since it looks sooooo good black. He's a nice young man and easy to deal with but.............don't believe your GPS when putting his address in. You'll end up in the middle of a field about a half mile from his house. :wall: All's well that ends well......Patty was able to push me back out of the field  DA

I think it's essential that you have a silver hood. It really opens your chances of sales. Want to trade a black for a silver??

Marshall, I think we may have talked about this before but a repop idea is the grills for 78 LF's. Won't be large volume but would be nice.

Marshall:

Hood pic looks great. I am restoring '80 Liquifire. What would be comparable to original hood, your lightweight or heavy hood? How much heavier (in weight) is heavy hood compared to light hood?

Also, would love to find new plastic belly pans. Are you making them or know where I could get them?

Thanks,

There is not a lot of weight difference If you are manly trail riding this sled not just racing it I would recommend the heavy one I do not have any in stock I would have to get one laid up the lighter one would probably be fine but not quite as stiff any questions let me know

I'd be interested in a 78 liquifire grille if you decide to make a run of them.

Marshall, Thanks for info on hood weight.

My other question pertained to '80 Liquifire belly pans. Do you also do those or know anywhere I might find some?
