Re: WTB a very clean 1982 Spitfire

I got a few more pics of that sled. Need to look a little closer at it. I don't think it meets the " crisply clean" criteria however.

500-1000 miles a summer I'm hoping for on both of these cars.

Re: Last winter's "Summer" project

It's the factory Acura R77 paint which is a Tri-coat. Has the red base, then a mixture of red & clear, then clear. It offers up a very deep color.

Re: Last winter's "Summer" project

Been sitting on this car for about 4 years. Progress has been slow but in the last 6 months, things have been moving. I thought it was going to be on the road 2 summers ago but it looks like summer of 2014 it should finally be ready. Still plenty of detailing left but I enjoy that sort of stuff. Got...

Re: Last winter's "Summer" project

I like looking for good deals with potential. I love turning wrenches like all of us do on this site. I also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that I made it what it is for a reasonable cost. I am currently finishing up a 1991 Acura NSX with only 24,000 miles. Bought that car 4 years ago and have be...

1982 & 1984 Sprintfires

I have (2) 1982 Sprintfires and one 1984 Sprintfire that I am considering parting with. I already have 2 fully restored 1982 Sprints with the open hoods. Those are going nowhere. What I have is 2 1982 Sprints both in need of restoration that I will consider parting with. I also have a nice 1982 open...

Re: last minute wrenchers

I enjoy wrenching all year. Lately time has been short however so things have been moving slower than normal. Just finished up clutching, gearing, V-Force reeds, pipes, water pump rebuild, studding, jetting and general maintenance on a 1999 Arctic Cat Thundercat I picked up with 1100 miles. Can't wa...

I knew it was a nice one...

No restoration on this one, it is original.
