This is just WRONG!
Oh boy ... glad I read this thread. I'd better not post my son's Trailfire, which is now Husker Red !!! Actually, I think it looks OK with the Deere decals. I couldn't really argue with him on wanting to re-paint it a different color, for I'm just not a huge fan of that off-brown color of the '78 Tr...

CDI versus Points Ignition
This may have been a topic in the past, but I can't locate if it's been discussed. Sorry for ignorance, but can some one give me a high level expalaniton on what the main differences are in the 2 systems, pros and cons, how to test them, reliabilty, why / when Deere switchedover, etc. Thanks for any...

Dolly for my Deere's
Guys, I'm going to attempt to make my own dolly for moving my sleds around, since they seem to be fairly pricy to buy. I have the wheels/tires, but have no idea on the dimensions. If anyone has a dolly such as this one on e-bay and it works for your Deere sled, could you tell me the width of the bar...

Hey 400Brian ... nice shot of the ole Case. I grew up on an old 110, then a newer 112 and lastly a 317 ... but I got to tell you, I can never get used to looking at those Case L&G tractors! Those larger than normal rear tires are probably a smoothe riding machine, but dang --- just look differen...

Not to go on with the "non-sled" topic ... but for years, my dad has been getting a monthly magazine called Green Magazine printed/published out of Bee, NE. It is said to be committed to the Johnny Poppers, but it has awesome articles from 6600 combines to 7520's to 6030s to lawn & gar...

Dang, sorry can't help you on your topic JDXspec ... but I certainly learned something from your photo. I didn't realize the engines were made in Japan for CCW by Korwitz! I know it may not be right, but it makes me relate it to a Chevy pickup being built in Mexico by a Ford plant ?!?!?!?! Could som...

some results & q's on carb fine tuning
I'm gonna give this a try GrassCutter --- my 340 needs a little pep talk.
I know this has probably been asked before and is somewhere on site, but where did you find these carb parts? Local shop or did you order a kit of some sort?
