For the shelves I would make a 4 post structure then shelves that fit inside. Stablize the shelves with big bolts to the 4 posts. Then if you want to move them just drill more holes higher or lower and move the shelves up or down. Here is the workbench I made out of 2x6's I will take more pics later...

I sat in the office until 3:00 on Monday and decided to hit the trail. Worked in the shop for the rest of the afternoon. It was nice to just relax for the afternoon.
