1980 LF Suspension Shock
I do not know if you access to Kimpex or Canadian Tire ? Kimpex old # 04-245 or new #298758 or CTC #26-4155-8. I have been using this shock on my Liq`s and Sporfires for 10 years now and it seems to stand up very well. Hope it helps.

First guy behind me didn`t have any brakes (unknown to me) .He drove right over me face down,breaking...

Anyone know where to grab a Liquifire windshield?
Please keep us updated. My wife's Sportfire has a 16" windshield on it. What is the hieght of the one in this posting? If anyone is interested, we make our own out of .050 aluminum, take your old windshield and trace the bottom and you can make the hieght anything you want.

Where is the light?
Take a 12 volt test light and with the engine running probe the wire at the VR. If it blows the bulb in seconds yep bad VR, but make sure that the VR is grounded and the black wire is plugged in. Also I have seen where you plug the harness in at the motor as you plug in the plug it pushes the wires ...

Gear Box oil seal #.
Maybe I should have been more specific,This seal is located outside the crankcase . It keeps the gear oil in that lubes the drive mechanism for oil and water pump. This seal has an outer steel ring as used in automotive applications. It is NOT a crankcase seal..
