So the motor in my 300 is toast and instead of investing in new pistons etc I found a ccw 440 motor. havent seen it yet but wanted to know if the swap would be super hard or impossible.

so got my sled all up and running and deceided to plug the plugs and saw what looked to be water on the plugs and the plugs looked clean like new and i ran the motor for over an hour not sure how it looks new. any ideas ?

does any one have a pic of the air cleaner setup on a john deere 300

Not sure why they were missing but we got them in and tightened them so all should be good now

well once i put the bolts in then i should be done fixing the sled for now.

on my jd 300 the bottom of the chain case is missing all the bolts and is now not centered. i got the right bolts now i just cant line it up because of the track. how can i remove the track ?

I pulled the carb and found that the pulse hose was cut and had an hole so I replaced it and will see if that fixes the issue tomorrow

how would I change them

thank you very much I have decided to go ahead and rebuild the carb. Also I have read about the seals going bad but my sled runs ok and seems to have good compression how would I check to see if the seals are bad.

What is the correct settings for this carb and does some one have a diagram of the carb ? also the chain case is missing a few bolts what oil should i replace with and how much ? thanks
