I have an 82 Sportfire with an 84 Trailfire LX 440 motor swap that I am parting out. The sled is complete, but the clutch side piston and rings are bad. Sporfire cylinder cross reference
Does anyone know if the Sportfire and Drifter used the same cylinders? I need to replace mine, and found one for sale that says it is for a Drifter or Sportfire. It has 440/2a stamped in the side of it. I didn't think they used the same engines, but maybe they are the same cylinder.
