83 Sportfire

I am thinking about parting with my 83 Sportfire, trying to figure out a fair price, the good is new rubber track with the nubbys on, engine has been resealed and runs good, drives good, recent compression test said 170psi per side, have new Johns seat for it or can give old one for less, new decals...

WTB 81 Liquifire B clutch arm weight

Does anyone have an extra 102c clutch arm weight for a 81 Liquifire. Says B on the side, just need one. I broke one. Or is there a sub for it?

Thanks
Mark

The part number on the secondary does not line up with the parts books. The part numbers off of it are AM54647, cam M68534, and A...

I am looking for the metal air deflector for my 83 Sportfire, the one that bolts on top of the engine shield clutch side, is made out of aluminum, and that directs the air to the vent to keep you warm, thanks for looking

Impact wrench worked too good

Today I was trying to remove a stubborn 102 clutch off a trailfire to put new crank seals in. I could not get the clutch off with my standard Mac 1/2 drive impact with 1/2 hose so I got my 3/4 drive IR impact with the 1" air hose and it twisted the clutch puller right off. With a little tapping...

Re: Trailfire Cylinder casting number?

One reason why I am wondering is because I want to buy a gasket set, what set do I buy? I also noticed the keepers on the piston pin are different but that could be from different manufacturers. I am thinking from what your telling me the 440/2A should be correct for the trailfire.

Trailfire Cylinder casting number?

Today I took apart my spare trailfire engine. One cylinder has cast into it 440/2A and the other has just 400 cast into it. The pistons are real close but one does not copletely thru the bore and the head has a copper ring on it where the other does not. which is correct for the trailfire 440 and wh...
