1981 John Deere Liquifire *unrestored*

Hey all! Haven’t been on the board in a long time, just thought I’d stop back on and share my mostly original Liquifire. My childhood machine still running like a champ on the original motor! The only thing done to this sled is the seat cover and seals in the engine. Love this machine. I can’t seem ...

Re: Looking for clutch parts 80LF

I should have bought a 108 but I invested in a TR800 for next year. I just want to get this 102-c back together as it's in decent shape, sheaves are nice and I had a kit to freshen it up.

Re: Looking for clutch parts 80LF

Hey smitfire,

Do you know if it has a set of good B can arms in it? All I really need is the arms. Thanks

Hard to find part. Let me know if you have any luck. I cleaned mine and it seemed to come back to life.

Re: Stripped Primary

Well it's off. Decided to weld a 3/4-16 nut to the end. That thing was tight and I put it on with a torque wrench last year it should have popped right off. Clutch question. #1. The 102-c that came off has longer cover bolts than the trailfire 102-c I intended to use... If I take all the weights,spr...

Stripped Primary

*Sigh*.... A job so simple. Guess I have to buy a tap and try to make a new puller. That or weld a nut to the end? This thing is on there tight. I could sacrifice this clutch I have others.

Re: 84 liquifire

Are you happy with the workmanship of the cover and did they install it? Your real close to me and I need my seat done. I've been waiting it out for the right shop to do it.

That motor is going to need to be pulled out and overhauled at the least.

They are pretty cool. Anyone know if they made any for the 80+ LF?
