After I run my sled for about 15 mins and shut it off, its tough to start when its warm, is this odd?

Engine (KEC 440) bogs out when throttle is opened...Why?

And found this bolted to the frame...engine has been replaced, S/N on chassis is different from S/N on 440 engine...S/N on engine in 13,000 range.

I took apart my 1973 JD 500 looking for this Voltage Regulator because of my headlight burning out.

Well, my S/N starts with 5000B, which I have found out coincides with the 1973 model...so I must have a bad voltage regulator, cause I keep blowing lamps when the RPMs increase..I thought it was because the lamps I was buying were much lower than the 60 watts....darn, must now take engine cover off ...

This machine has no voltage regulator on it, is that correct? Where can I find a 60 watt round headlamp for this sled? ( 5 3/4 ") diameter.
