Hello, looking for the bushing inside the helix for a 1976 cyclone driven.
I don't have a part number so any help would be much appreciated! Thank you..

Re: Cyclone does not shift

Thanks again guys for the information!! I'll take a look this weekend and see what I see.
I know the primary needs a rebuild so after I get the crank seals in that will be next.

Re: Cyclone does not shift

Would anyone happen to know if you can remove the 'can' on a 102c and run it?

Re: Cyclone does not shift

I believe that your exactly right on the components! I didn't see parts listed for a comet secondary in in dennis kirk.
Never heard of new breed parts, Busch bulletpats or manufacture supply before I ran across this site...Thanks again!!

Re: Cyclone does not shift

Thanks to both of you! I didn't know that comet did that with their 102!!
Since parts for the 102 are readily available, that is no longer a concern.
Are bushings for the driven available?

Thanks again!

Re: Cyclone does not shift

Crank seals are in the mail. Yes, the driven is preloaded. And you cannot see the spider etc. on the primary.

Cyclone does not shift

Hi all. I am in search of information and parts. I recently acquired a 1976 340 cyclone. The sled appears to me to be a real survivor, nothing looks to have been molested! After removing the vermin nests etc. I cleaned the carb and tank. Was pleasantly surprised at how well it runs. I ran it with th...
