Sounds like some sort of capacitive effect; like something is charging for a few seconds. Below edited this from the Sportfire Tech manual. Besides this test you might want to clean up all your connections & test switches for resistance should be .2 ohms or less on a good contact. Found a previo...

Seems large diesel engines such as those used in ships & locos are 2 stroked. W/ the addition of a turbo or supercharger to pressurize the intake externally these engines are able to use a wet oiled crankcase as w/ a 4 stroke. You no longer need the piston to pump the air/fuel into the cylinder ...

Ok just contacted a Mikuni dealer & he said these carbs are designed to be mounted horizontally & when mounting off-horizontal the tab on the float mechanism has to be adjusted downward. The problems of going non-OEM. Would think the engine would be flooded out on a downhill run even w/ a ho...
