Re: Technical Overview of the IFS Liquifire Prototype

Cool post Joe. We can only wish that Deere had continued with their R&D as it did / would have produced some of the most incredible sleds around.

Re: 79 spitfire recoil starter

Deere still sells them. I forget the part number, but they are listed for one of there snowblowers. I believe you can get just the internals

Re: 1979 Spitfire

Thanks guys. The seat is pressed in on the butterfly's, so only the needle is replaceable. Was wondering if anyone knew of a needle fits

SpitfireKing, I may take you up on that carb yet. Thanks

1979 Spitfire

Does anybody know where I could find a needle and seat or just the needle for a butterfly carb from a Spit?
Thanks

Mikuni Carb E-clips

I've noticed a few asking about E-clips for the jet needle on Mikuni carbs. The source I found was Duratrax.com. P/N is DTXQ0523 They come in packs of 10. Last time I bought them price was around $3. Perhaps your local shop might deal with them or a hobby shop. These guys deal in R/C hobby car stuff...

Re: 80 Liquifire Carb Flange Source?

Try the ones for the 440 Invader. They are slightly shorter I believe but work

Re: I500 DVD

Scott,
I received the DVD, thanks. Unfortunately I cannot get it to play. Tried the DVD player, various formats on the computer, etc. What format did you use? And how do I convert it?

thanks
