I know that they did I put a set in mine but it was quite a few years ago, dont remember the make.

When I replaced the stator i left the timing where it was,which was about dead center on the adjustment plate, checked timing and it appeared to be very close, my dial indicator at the time was giving me some grief though, ran the sled and when it got warm it ran worse almost like the timing was ret...

Hi Harley yes flywheel is marked at .096 before tdc and I'm using a timing light, replaced stator with a new old stock, engine does seem to start Really well but I'm probably out by an inch and half but have no more adjustment on the stator plate, by the way Harley your homecast links Dont seem work...

Hey guys replaced the stator and have ran out of adjustment For advancing the timing, seems to start well and run just ok, seems a Little flat off the line. Unit already has a Hewtech cdi on it, fuel Is a little old in the tank, has anyone had to modify there stator Adjustment plate to get more adju...

hey guys have any of you ordered new floats for a mikuni lately, I ordered some for mine and instead of round puck like ones I received the ovalled or oblong ones, do you think I will be able to use these, there is a height difference in the floats. Thanks Spitty

Hi yes it is the 250 twin, this unit has the single carb mount manifold, but has the 2 impulse lines which confused me if it only has one carb, I will plug the one impulse and try that. Sorry not familiar with the Elans, first 1 for me. Thanks Spitty
