Hood foam Idea

first of all on the trailfire, my 82 lx 440 had the eggcrate style foam! as for danzig, does this foam come with an adhesive backing or like an adhesive foil backing or something? I did see if exposed to direct flame, this foam will smolder, stuff looks like good stuff! thanks bigjohn

1991 yamaha exciter

These Exciters are so much fun!!! A great sled for jumping, trialriding, and just bee-boppin around the yard. I had one a couple years ago that i absolutely rode into the ground and it stayed with me all 10,000 miles i put on it. They are super light, they have moderate power, its an odd motor, like...

Sandblasting my motor

Over the past couple of years, I've used baking soda to blast engines. I doesn't remove the metal and yet it works great! But, I would definetly agree with Danzig and hot tanking it. Simply a failsafe approach to engine work!

grass drags

BadSpeed,

The dates usually vary every year meaning sometimes they will do them at the beginning of the summer and other times they do them in the fall...If you want to wait just a little bit, ill make a few phone calls and ask around as to when they could possibly be this year!!!

grass drags

BadSpeed,

I live around Medina County in Ohio and there are grass drags in the small town of Spencer, Ohio every late summer/early fall...They last for the better part of a week and are a lot of fun...Ive never run the Deere's but my AC 800 did pretty well last year! Hope this helps!

Ice issues

The lock de-icer stuff from any autoparts place is in fact good stuff...ive used it on my cables many of times...but after a while, it does wear off. It is a quick fix to not have your sled full throttle into a tree, but after i use the de-icer i use grease and di-electric like takeittothelimit says...
