You have him down almost 60% and leave him hanging? Go get it.

Wow check for spark, compression, track condition, hacked up wires ETC ETC ... A gasket Kit for this is $85.... pistons are not available, tracks are long gone (new ones) how bad do you want it ? I just bought a running 83 sprintfire for $75 locally.. ! Just saying once again a case of too many Zero's on the starting price ! Where did the one go that was on EBAY ?? It was a decent 83' .. :beers;

Wow!
I would trip over myself for a Sprintfire under $200 in WI.
If it's got under 2,000 mi & everything checks out I'd have to go for it @ $250.
But then again I pretty much ONLY drive the Sprints.
So that's just me.
Maybe that's why I have 4 of them now. :)

Rob that's what I'm saying if it was running and not in need of that much work no problem. But I have an 83 that needs a major face lift so in passing it on to a fellow jdsled guy.

Why would you even talk him down if you had no intentions of buying it?

I would buy it if I could get to a price that I feel comfortable at. With an 8 hour round trip and fuel price I thought that was still high. I had thought I would share with with you guys with more cash and room to work with.

Jim the snowfire in Sterling is already bought and paid for. It is sitting at Mr Deere's (aka Bob) house waiting for me ! It is an 84. Yes I had the same trouble getting the kid talked into giving me the Vin ! So i made him tell me the manf date ! He was very difficult to work with but patience paid off !sled is in good shape and is number #238 of 276 produced ! :usa:
