78 cyclone no tach or lights
78 cyclone no tach or lights
i am having a new problem with this sled ,after timing the engine and reassembling i now do not have any lights or tach ,while timing it everything worked ,i checked the ohms and it reads 1.2...is this correct? also it is electric start with no battery, would that matter? i mean everything worked before ,or did the stator just quit....any help is appreciated it is the 440 kioritz
Re: 78 cyclone no tach or lights
Check the male/female terminals on the engine connector. Maybe one of the pins got pushed out of the molded plug on reassembly.

Re: 78 cyclone no tach or lights
What he said, It has to be something simple but the lighting coil should be 0.2 ohms between the two green/yellow wires.
