Can you not rebuild the one you have or rebuild a used one? The only real "ready to run" ones I've seen have been on ebay for like $150+, so be prepared to pay....I can get you a carb off a sled, but i'm sure it needs a kit.

well i just completely gave up on this thing, ive taken it apart like 20 times and cant figure it out. i bought a diaphram kit already...its really frusterating. 150 isnt crazy, the rebuild kit is a hundred bucks, so i was hoping maybe someone had one ready to go.

These carbs usually aren't that tricky. Typically the Walbro gets blamed for other issues within the engine itself. What are your symptoms that lead you to believe that the carb is at fault?

it spits gas out of the back of it where theres a drain hole. i cant figure out for the life of me why, all the gaskets are new and i have checked all the ridges on the plates and i soaked everything in carb cleaner so it is clean, needles aprear in good shape, just cant figure it out. ive tinkered with the metering lever as well

everytime i put it back together it will start right away run for a second and then gas starts leaking and it stops running .

You probably have something plugged in the idle circuit. PM sent.

would that be in the actual carb housing or one of those plates?

Could be in either, but most likely in the carb housing.

Just to update this for reference, I bought another carb gasket kit, it was a winderosa and it is now running fine. The STX or whatever brand didn't work.

That's funny, I have a winderosa kit and it never would work, tried it in 2 different carbs. I had changed my crank seals etc so I know it was the kit

I believe those aftermarket kits are all made by the same company, just packaged differently.

Even an OEM kit can have a bad component.

Makes one appreciate the Carb more when you have to R&R it three times to make it work. :bonk:
