Oversize 340 Cyclone Pistons

Post by ski »

Looked in the FAQ'S and didn't see anything covering this topic..Redirect me if I missed it please.

Are there any oversize pistons available for the 340 1978 Cyclone case reed Kioritz engine? I see Parts Unlimited had a standard size. I noticed SPI made pistons for the 440. Are the aftermarket pistons made the same as the Kioritz?... by that I mean same quality and strength/reliability?

OEM pistons came in standard and .010" over. I have seen as big as .060" over in aftermarket pistons for the /22 and /23 engines.
