Looks really nice Jeff. One question, what way do you like to go about removing dents from the tunnel and pan? I held off on blasting the tunnel on my Cyclone until I get most of the dents out, have been working on it with hammers and dollys but haven't had much time to work on it lately. Just wondering what your approach to this issue is. Thanks, Adam

Aluminum is a soft metal, so it is tricky to repair. When aluminum bends, it also stretches, so proceed with patience, take your time and be gentle, or it will look like hail damage. I use a hammer/dolly to work out dents and bends. Fortunately for JD belly pans, there is a painted finish to hide behind once you are finished. Sanding, filling and paint will hide the imperfections in the metal. Sanding and polishing are all you can do with the plain aluminum finishes used on the tunnel.
I dont have any expert advice for you. I just do what I do like the rest of you "whatever works" LOL

I sold the liquifire today to a friend who will be finishing the restoration so that I can concentrate on my Mercury truck restoration.

Another rare vintage Canadian car is the Pontiac Beaumont.
Mercury pickups turn up at shows now and again.

Its been a while since I have been on here, but I wanted to show you the restored 1976 Liquifire pics. I sold this sled to my friend Lloyd, and he finished it fo me. I think he did a very nice Job.
