I would like some more details on the motor, I assume with the spotty reference it is a Kohler. But I thought all the triple kohlers had star burst heads.

IF you can blow the picture up enough you can see the case is welded together, it does have Spitfire cyl's & heads, supposedly the boy's at Kohler built this & installed it in a Spitfire to play with back in the late 70's, they must have had some extra time on there hands.. One of the old Kohler R&D boy's still has the motor
