Hey guys,
I am looking for a good used crankshaft that would fit a Kawasaki TB340A. Also is there any chance that a crankshaft from a '79 340 Kohler engine would fit in this motor?

I would be surprised if they were anywhere close to fittling.
A crank from a Trailfire engine or any of the T1 series Kawasaki engines should fit.

Trailfire and Kawasaki spitfire share the same crank.

I have a Spitfire crank not in a sled. Last I saw it she was boxed up and wrapped in plastic. I will be in NY before Christmas if you are not in a huge hurry, and could send a pic then.

Thank you everyone for the replies, I figured that the cranks would not be the same but it was worth a shot. Joe I am trying to get one before then, but if I haven't found anything by then I will be contacting you about it.
