Don't plan on winning however, that is reserved for Norton or Deerekid9 just sayin...........

On a more serious side, half the proceeds go to the Hall of Fame and the trophy is the Cameron Amber Memorial trophy. It's a blast to participate in. As much fun as the next days ride and ends with free brats!!!! Almost impossible to beat.

I'm planning on being there this year. Haven't decided which sled is going with me yet though.

Tentatively I plan on hosting the Friday Night Fish Fry at Whitetail (if they'll still have us). Will pass along more information as time gets nearer.

For some dumb reason, Jeff and Joy at Whitetail are welcoming us back again for the Friday Night Fish Fry. hmmmm, could be a "profit" motive.........

About the first of February, I'll be back taking names and reservations. It's my hope to invite other "legends" and brands to attend as well, not just a John Deere event ( but I expect MOSTLY John Deere enthusiasts LOL).

I talked it over with the boss and it looks like a go. I'm probably going to stay at a friends place in Rhinelander. Don, does it have to be fish Friday night? Allergic to fish.

Duane,

It is an open menu.

I believe that it is a state law though that all restaurants in Wisconsin have friday night fish frys. :lol22:

A reminder:

We are looking for a touring sled ( with driver ) to use as a filming platform on Feb 15th. It looks like Brad has sold the sled he had in mind.

We also require a modern sled for Dave Carlson, there are more options there, but I'd like to hear from anyone who can help out.

Don,
You can add Dan and Myself to the definite list for the Friday night fishfry (also the Friday Poker Run).

Brian,
Not sure if this is an option, but for convience I'd be glad to throw a couple of bucks toward a rental touring sled for the video folks. Looks like Dan and I are just bringing 2 sleds on dbl trailer this year.

See everyone in 6-7 weeks!

Later,
Roger

Thanks Wade.

I will make up some 2013 decals and give to someone Friday to hand out on Saturday. I am thinking Black letter on white this year.

The neatest decal thing I have done recently, I took some of the repro I-500 racing numbers and had the local print shop create them on the non adhesive peel and stick material. They appear to stick nice and tight and then if you want to remove you just pull them off. Sort of nice with certain decals to not have them be permnament. Like my Wisconsin DNR registration sticker I just stuck that sticker to the peel and stick material and put it on my tunnel. Then I can take it off no problems any time without razors or fluid to breakdown the adhesive.

Look forward to seeing everyone on Friday. Hope for snow because right now it is not good up there.
