I would like to buy a JDM 41-3 and JDM 41-5 if anyone is willing to sell.

If I had one of each for a sample, could a machine shop create one of each for me?

I've been wondering that too Don, and same for Comet clutch pullers.

Several years ago when considering the purchase of a puller we were advised to get a genuine "Comet" puller. We did and have been very, very happy with it. It has taken a ton of abuse but continues to function everytime.

Don,
JDM 41-5 only fits the early style of 102c sheave. The later versions do not have the hole drilled in the end of the sheave, I had bought a Comet grunt tool and have been very happy with it to remove the spider.

There is a tapered end tool to use along with this one but I can't find.

Thanks Pat, Actually I have that tool. My tool requires a way to hold the clutch so you can remove the spyder whereas the JD tools utilize a vise. Ideas on how to "hold" the clutch and use my tool are always welcome.

Don,
This is what I have, thanks Rob.

I mount the tapered end tool in a vise, install clutch on to it, install mounting bolt, torque up and place the larger tool on top and spin off the spider.

All those Comet tools are eventually going to run out, and probably soon.

I also ordered a second Comet puller just for that reason.

I just tried to order the grunt tool from MFG supply as a set and individually. They said they're out of stock and back ordered with no date of arrival from the manufacturer. What a bummer, and they had good prices, too.
