78 cyclone headlight problem
every time i hit my brake the headlight gets really dim anyone have any ideas?

Check / clean all the grounds to the lights.

In addition to what Harley said look very closely at the back side of the tailight assembly.
You may find that of the two wires that go into the small hole at the rear of the socket, the one for the brakelight filement may be touching the socket base if too much bare wire is showing beyond the insulation.
Another problem area may be under the seat. Again the brakelight wire may have had the insualtion rubbed off and it is touching the tunnel.
I have seen these two problems many times.

Remove seat and check wiring I bet a mouse chewed the wires up and shorts when you hit the brakes.
