Saw that, noticed that the sleves are also cut down and just wondering if this would be tough to install the clamps on or what are the drawbacks to this box if any because of that.

no drawbacks at all, cut sleeves make for easier installation and removal...for $20 clamps fit cut or not cut !

Just took a closer look at it. Appears that the sleeves are completely cut off. That just wont work. Still looking.
Re: WTB air box 80,s liquifire
I may have one yet. I'll look.
Re: WTB air box 80,s liquifire
I have one but the bottom of the flanges have also been cut off.

What would and NOS one be worth?

Put a price on it, or put it on Evil Bay and let the market decide.JoeRainville wrote:What would and NOS one be worth?
Is it an 84 Liquifire airbox?

Re: WTB air box 80,s liquifire
Good point Bill, but I guess what I was trying to say was that I have an NOS one I could be talked out of if a member here was interested. I could put it on eBay, but I am willing to discuss it off line, or trade, ect. Part of the problem is that I really don't know what to ask for it. I can alway let the market decide...
One thing though, is that I don't have the metal baffel for it, they came without it.

No NOS box for this sled. Trying to keep the cost down on this one and will be a backup sled for folks that go riding and don't have a sled. Cant really use a cut up box either but thanks for the replys everybody....Mitch. Dig deep buddy and lets see what you got.

a box with the flanges cut back will work, if you can get a clamp on it you are golden !

Agreed Paul.. I do have one that the flanges are cut back and it works pretty good. The one on ebay looks like they are completely removed. Sent seller an email but have not heard back to verify. Do appreciate all the help Paul...............................
