Kioritz cooling shroud

Post by 400brian »

Looking for very good used, or NOS cooling shroud for 440/22. Both pieces: M64668 and AM53040.

These were used on '74 and '75 JDX6s and JDX8s.

Brian,

This is a silver one, correct? Does this have a badge on it that reads "JOHN DEERE 440/22 REED" or does it not have a tag? I'll check my stash, i should have something.

Silver, and yes, I believe it does have a decal like you describe.

That would be great if you could help Brian out because upon inspection i found that all of my engine shrouds are in one of three conditions:

1. They are for a /5 series engine
2. They are broken around the head bolts
3. They are in Ohio.

So.... I won't be able to help you. Sorry Brian. :bonk:

Brian .... Check Hinkley Motor Sports. They had a ton of silver shrouds at one time. Sure they still have a bunch.

Picked up an NOS shroud off an e-bay store last week. Wasn't cheap, but what would be the fun in that?
The stuff is out there...

Half the fun is in the hunt anyway! I find it easiest to just help myself to the parts in Rainville's barn now that he is a Texan...
