Few more parts needed for Hall of Fame Raffle Liquifire

Post by Matt »

There are just a few more parts Brock & the crew need to finish up the '78 Liquifire that is being donated to the Snowmobile Hall of Fame by JDsleds.com. We need the following:

NOS Kill Switch
NOS Dimmer Switch
NOS Brake & Throttle blocks
If you have any these parts that are very good used condition, we will consider them as well.

Not to muddy the waters here but,
I have a nice 80 Trailfire engine minus the pistons that I will trade to anyone that might have any of the above mentioned needed parts.
I know most just donate, but if it will help, I will trade what I have as I don't have any thing of value.

Hey guys - please help out if possible. The parts listed above are needed.

However, there are many other parts on the list in addition to those above. Brock is putting a lot of his own NOS parts into this sled just to be able to complete it. I don't think we should let Brock use up all his own parts when this is supposed to be a group effort. Please help out if possible, or refer another person to the parts if you know where they can be found.

Thank you!

It's ok if you don't feel like "donating" the parts. Just know that I'm willing to buy any one of the parts needed. If you have one of the parts and want to sell, PM me. I will NOT put your name out.

Hello Guys, Things are moving right along. She is really starting to look like a 78 liquifire again. I want to thank Randy, RLFollman. He donated a NOS tach for the charity sled. We all know how easy those are to find. NOT LOL!!!! That will save us alot of time trying to make the old one look new. I want to thank everyone that has donated parts for this project. Hey Matt have u heard any more about the decals ? Thanks Guys Brock

Hey Guys , I have kinda dug in my parts to keep things rollin on the project. So the parts list has changed quiet a bit . Thanks Joe for finding some more old junk, I think thats what you told me it was.LOL!! If we could Find the other block (not sure which one Rainville is sending) and a dimmer switch, I know this is pushing it bit a 100 mph speedo and we are GOOD. I can rebuild the old one but it takes alot of time, especially since we now have a NOS tach. So now the faces have to really be very similar ( old one might be faded and not quite match the NOS tach. But i will deal w it one way or another! Thanks Guys SOOOOOO much .Brock

Brock, I sent you a throttle block. I sent Ed Poets an email to inquire about the brake side too, but he is out of town for a few days. Thanks for all the hours and parts you have put into this project!
