I well remember this little fiberglass patch kit. We had a whole stack of them and every year I would inventory them and every year none had been sold.
Finally, when I started working on m 1971 Mustang I decided they would be perfect for my project of attempting to fabricate a working ram air to hook
up to the scoops in the hood. I soon found out that Deere should have stamped a shelf life date on them as they were nearly dried out.
I've wondered if we still have them around here somewhere or if someone finally got tired of looking at them and chucked them.
Glad to see one again, they're a neat period service item and sit squarely in the snowmobile days.

CAT offered a similar kit. And true to form they are not workable after 30 years.
