KEC400/21 pistons

Post by JDman21 »

What is the standard piston size for a KEC400/21 engine. I think its out of a 74 JDX6. Ordered pistons and was sent two different size pistons.

I looked in the specs section on the home page.
'74 X6 is listed as having a 63mm bore.

The bottoms of the CCW engines are all the same.
The tops are different: ie heads, cylinders and pistons.

Someone switched them around in the past. They put 400 top on a 440 bottom.

I have even seen a 440 top on one side and 400 top on the other. And it was a running engine.
