I have always went bolt heads on the inside of the tunnel.
Even though the parts manual shows them the way you have them they built them the opposite way.

Progress has been slow the last couple months, what with work obligations/waiting for parts/and the slowing effects of a few dozen cases of beer... Lol but it is coming together slowly, will post more pics as progress is made

Hey Adam,

What did you end up using for bushings in the suspension tubes? I am going to assume that with a little bit of lathe time, you were able to fashion new ones? I'm getting close to needing some for my Black Triplets, and i figured you probably already had this problem solved.

P.S., I assume Scott delivered your boosters a few weeks ago?

Dustin, I believe Adam was able to locate NOS suspension bushings for the project. If I remember correctly their was one plastic piece we had to reuse and we were able to find a good one out of the various suspensions lying around.

I've had luck before finding bushings from McMaster Carr, MSC, and Grainger. You can find just about any dimension and material you want. I rebuilt the suspension on my 76 Liquifire with Oilite bronze bushings from one of those sources.

Hey Dustin, yeah like Scott said I had some NOS plastic. I suppose new ones could be reproduced easy enough, would just need the right material.

I assume Scott has my coils and your idlers, lol haven't talked to him much about sleds lately.

Adam,

I didn't send idlers with Scott. I have them split and plan on polishing them before i send them to you as they are much easier to polish in pieces. I'll give you a shout when i get them ready.
