WTB- Rubber Carb Mounting Flanges

Post by pwgsx »

I need 2 ( new) or almost new flanges that attach the carb to the motor. Needs to fit a 81 Liquifire. I tried newbreedparts but not in stock until the fall.

Thanks

If you want to try the cheaper Parts Unlimited ones...denniskirk.com should have them.

If you can get the Mikuni brand part number from Matt. Just search the p/n and you'll find someone that sells them.

Matt is the caretaker of this site and the owner of Newbreed parts.

I would really encourage you to get the Mikuni carb boots. They are much better

They are worth every penny.

I have melted more than one engine because of the aftermarket ones

Don't mess with the aftermarket flanges. Good ones are way cheaper than engine parts.

X2

To give you a heads up, both the aftermarket and Mikuni flanges are shorter than the original Deere flanges. This makes it much easier to get the air box installed. I use the genuine mikuni flanges.

pwgsx, if you haven't already discovered it, $$$$$ and vintage sleds go hand in hand. And it only costs cents more to go first class.
