Hello everyone, The 50 year committee would like to thank everyone who came out to the show and displayed or just to look around. We could not have done this without your support. I personally want to thank Joe Wanie (Horicon Joe) for all of his help and to take charge of the snowmobile area. The display was AWESOME. I would also like to thank Don Ambers and everyone else who helped make this a show to remember. The official number of displays at the show was 615. That is an amazing number. Again from all of us with the 50 year committee. THANK YOU !!!

So, for Brian Lindner you're saying the 2510 is the 340/S of tractors?????

Hmmmmm, I don't know if that comparison is correct.

The diesels had a very strong tendency to rattle the sleeves loose, and run the coolant into the oil. I guess all the '10 series could do it, but there was something about that 4 cyl that would do it without fail. The one my father bought new did it while it was still under warranty, but the dealer had claimed our tractor to fix someone else's that was out of warranty, and so after much BS, he pretty much got screwed. That is why we have ran Case tractors since.

We acquired my Grandfather's 2510 in 1976 when we bought him out. He had bought it new, and his had crapped past warranty. In the early '80s, I think we had to spend around $4500 to put a 2520 block in it to cure a corroded block that was allowing coolant into the oil. They are a nice driving tractor, but only around 50 hp.

My cousin who is a huge Deere guy acquired a a gas 2510 a few years back, and he says its the most expensive POS he has ever owned. My recollection is that ours always had transmission oil running out of them somewhere.
