What kind of interest is there for the 340/S & Dator rear tank Premium Fuel Only Caps?
I'm taking a NOS Premium Fuel Only cap & the treads from a tank with me to VN to see if I can find someone to reproduce them for us..

Count me in for 2.
I was thinking awhile back someone had talked to the gentleman who was making the custom length Kelch gas gauges about this. I was thinking he could do it if we had the metal insert that reads Premium Fuel Only instead of the gauge face. I'm thinking another problem was that Kelch changed the design of the grip on the outside of the cap. Anyone remember anything about this?????

I hope you guy's keep in mind that we probably will have a minimum order of 100 - 200 pieces, ( I will try my best to keep the minimumas low as possible & yet keep the price low for the mold & per cap ) And more than likely we will never order these again...... our friends in Wi. or Mi., wanted at least a 1000 + piece order before they would even talk to anyone & they wanted to use there new style caps.....
On the twin fill tanks ( other side ) & even on the 340/S single fuel tanks you could use these also by drilling a small hole in the top to vent the cap, as the ones repopped will be non-vented.
When we raced the Dators using the twin tanks we broke off the gauge part on the front tank so the cap could be easily removed at the fuel stops & the gauge part wouldn't get hung up on the filler neck..
So also they could be used on any sled ( with the right tank neck ) that you would want "Premium Fuel Only" in the sled & not care about having a guage....
