Nice 1981 John Deere Spitfire --- all original including windshield and seat. Everything on the sled is clean and straight. Engine has just been completely redone by Durand Motorsports and Jerome Kretzman including NOS pistons and rings, new crankshaft bearings and seals, crankshaft spec'd, clutch checked, carb cleaned, new fuel lines, etc. Over $650 into the engine alone and done right. This rider runs awesome and starts right up. Headlight high beam / low beam and tail light / brake light all work. There are two half inch nicks in the seat hump and it needs a brake block, which I'll include if I find one. I'm taking a significant loss at $1000 but I found my youngest son a newer Ski-Doo Formula with only 320 miles that he just had to have. Buyer will have option to buy a nice Spitfire cover for only $50. Payment via cash or PayPal and can store until Oct 1st.
