That is my fear, a 1978 sled with 1978 springs and its 2013. I have mono leafs on my 78 now and they are sacked out or arent they ?

As for the leaf springs there was a company in Milwaukee, Wi that would make leaf springs to your specs. if you could get them a "good" set the could possibly make new ones for you, IF they are still in business.

It is raining out today so have a chance to catch up. Going back over this thread and was wondering what NEW & MODERN track would make our slightly less powered Deere's a shade or two faster for the vintage classes. Link below takes you to Tracks USA.
