1979 340 Trailfire

How many intake gaskets am I suppose to use? The kit comes with 6. Do I double them up somewhere or is this a mistake?

If you have the correct and original spacers and shroud(fan) cover you will need all six.

Spacers ?? I did not find any of them when I took it apart. Is it possible some don't have them?
