Hard to come by in nice condition, but John has pattern and can make. That's what I did for my cc.

Well he didn't do mine right after two tries. Still looks like a 80 Liquifire hump in the back. That's not the only seat he screwed up here. Even if I could barrow a seat foam or a seat and take it to my local recover guy and just eat the $150 plus shipping or more I'd be happy to have it done right. I've been holding this in for years. I don't want anyone mad at me but my local guy does a great job. And I know I'm not the only one. Matt you can remove this if you want and I won't have a problem with it. I just had to vent. Very frustraded.

I wish I did Dustin. I'd send it to you tomorrow if I did. I do have a 78 Liquifire seat with a 80 hump in the back. My favorite seat, not. LOL. I wish I could barrow one too. My 78 dumpster fire seat would be getting to my upholstery shop tomorrow if I had one. Even better. does anyone have a NOS 80's Liquifire seat they want recovered. That's not what I asked for but I have one. If anyone wants to know why I'm so peed off. Just guess. :bonk:

I've seen good work for others too. Not for me though. I like the seat material from my local guy much better too. Evidently he didn't have a pattern or any idea how to make a 89-84 Sport seat to look like a 78 when I had mine done. Sad thing is he had a 78 Liquifire there and was suppose to do mine at the same time. It didn't happen. I got a call asking where the bolt holes were suppose to be as well as the length and gas tank height. I wrote every dimension down that I told. First time I got it the bolt holes weren't even close, the height was still the same as a 80-84. The seat was one inch longer on one side and the hump was unchanged. I got it back again and at least the height, length, and bolt holes were right but the rear hump never got changed even though I said it was wrong. I gave up. Shipping was killing me. Second I sent a NOS 80-84 Sport seat. It had a hard spot towards the back. I wanted that fixed or left alone if it wasn't possible. I got a recovered seat back instead. Basically I originally paid $175 for the NOS seat so I kind of paid $175 for NOS seat foam plus the cost of being recovered plus shipping. I'll give credit where due. My 76 Liquifire seat came back pretty nice but the foam was perfect. Does anyone have a 78 seat foam or seat I could barrow? I'd really like to have my 78 seat done correctly.

I know it's probably a unpopular subject. I'm just stating what happened to me. I hope everyone else had better luck than I did.
