needle bearing info pls

Post by Steven Rempel »

I am planning to refresh some of my motors but need help find a source on where to get needle bearings for my kohler 295 2ax and my 440/21 motors. So right know i need a source and some way to confirm what sizes i need to buy/order. I would love to have a document of some kind telling me what size they should be. any help would be great.

http://www.cvtech-aab.com is a great reference site for everything 2-stroke. They list all crank parts by dimension.

I have a old Central catalog that lists the wrist pin bearing info you are asking about.

Kohler K295-2/2AX uses a #1403 which is a 16mm x 20mm x 20mm needle cage bearing.

KEC 440 reed valve (serial #24 thru 33) uses a 1406 which is a 16mm x 20mm x 24mm needle cage bearing.

Hope this helps.
